I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology at University of Maryland, College Park.

I am a PhD student studying phosphatic fossilization in early Cambrian rocks. I work with archaeocyathids and small shelly fossils to better understand sedimentary phosphate mineralization and how these fossils may be a record of early microbial-metazoan symbiosis.

I am an MS student studying the taphonomic potential of Fe-metabolizing microorganisms.
